- Analyze incoming faxes meticulously, extracting essential patient information, including demographics and comprehensive medical history. Ensure precision and completeness in data handling.
- Evaluate whether the patient already exists within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. If not, create new patient records with utmost accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with doctors and their schedules to efficiently book appointments for referred patients. Optimize appointment slots to enhance patient access.
- Assess the urgency of each case promptly and respond appropriately. Prioritize urgent referrals to ensure timely care.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with referring providers, patients, and internal staff.
- Foster collaboration with clinical teams to streamline patient transitions.
- Monitor common issues related to referrals. Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
Education Requirement:
- Relevant experience required: 1-2 year
- Qualification: Diploma/B.Sc in Optometry/Ophthalmology
- Shift Timings: 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM (Night Shift)
Required Candidate Profile:
- You have excellent English spoken and written skills and at least 2-years of professional experience in the US/Canadian healthcare.
- You are familiar with healthcare regulations like HIPAA.
- You have attention to detail and perform all tasks with high accuracy.
- You demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- You own a computer with 2.4 GHz Processor, 8 GB RAM and 100 Mbps internet connection.
