Role Description

The Healthcare Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL. The manager will oversee the development and implementation of security measures to protect hospital personnel, patients, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities include managing physical security operations, coordinating security staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing strategies for mitigating risks. The role also involves analyzing and improving security processes and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Physical Security and Security Management, including team oversight and emergency response planning.
• Knowledge and experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Network Security to safeguard hospital systems and sensitive data.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive security protocols and policies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory standards and experience working in healthcare or similar industries is a plus.
