The Healthcare Surveyor/Operations Support Analyst (ANE Prevention) will:

Implement and support DDSD's statewide Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE) response processes, with a strong emphasis on prevention and proactive risk reduction

Collaborate closely with Regional Offices to ensure consistent implementation of safety practices and to minimize potential harm to vulnerable individuals

Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to promote optimal care, elevate service quality, and safeguard the well­being of individuals receiving services across all Waivers

How does it get done?

Healthcare Surveyor/Operations Support Analyst (ANE Prevention) is responsible for: :

Demonstrating and consistently applying a foundational understanding of the Developmental Disabilities Waiver (DOW) Service Standards, Mi Via Waiver Service Standards, and Medically Fragile Waiver Service Standards;

Reviewing and maintaining accurate case files for all ANE reports received by DHI/IMB, utilizing additional electronic platforms relevant to case tracking and documentation;

Utilizing various electronic systems; Therap, RORA, DHI/IMB Intake database, and Microsoft Office products;

Effectively interpreting policy, following procedural requirements, and supporting consistent application of ANE response standards.

This position provides a critical service for individuals receiving supports provided through New Mexico's Medicaid Waiver Home and Community-Based Services waiver programs.

The work completed will benefit families, guardians, provider agencies, and the community at large.

Minimum Qualification

Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Architecture, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Rehabilitation, and/or Criminal Justice and two (2) years directly related experience in community based healthcare services and case management. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive a Defensive Driving Course Certificate as a condition of continued employment within 45 days of employment. Travel may be required with some occasional overnight stays. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Working Conditions

Office setting with extensive use of personal computer, telephone, fax, copier and other related office equipment that involves sitting, standing, bending, reaching, etc. to include lifting up to 30 pounds.
