Position Title: Long Term Care (LTC) Medication Aide (MA or Med Aide) - Full Time (FT)
Department: Nursing Services
Reports to: LTC Director, Nursing

What You Will Do
- Prepare, administer and document prescription medications and treatments, as assigned by supervisor.
- Attend to resident care needs as care planned and document.
- Recognize and report to the Charge Nurse changes in resident's condition (physical, mental, emotional, behavioral).
- Perform and document special tasks including blood glucose readings, pulse oximetry readings, established inhalation therapy.
- Review resident Care Worksheets to ensure all needs are identified accurately, plans are complete, and goals are accomplished as defined; report any changes to Charge Nurse.
What Your Need
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Leaderships skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have successfully completed the 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training Course and be certified by the Nebraska Health and Human Services System, as well as the 40-hour Medication Aide Course and certified as a Medication Aide.
