Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, plumbing, boilers, and appliances. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Install new HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties following design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform equipment repairs, and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret HVAC schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for accurate troubleshooting and installation.
• Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for quality assurance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as construction or property maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
• Experience with field service operations involving troubleshooting electrical issues using tools like ohmmeters.
• Mechanical skills including welding, boiler maintenance, and general equipment repair.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.

Pay: $26.46 - $31.87 per hour
