Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and equipment inspections to prevent future failures.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant line repairs and ammonia refrigeration maintenance.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed; communicate findings clearly to clients or management.
- Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely for field service visits while adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in construction environments or property maintenance settings.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration).
- Mechanical knowledge of appliances repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and equipment repair procedures.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and electrical troubleshooting methods.
- Field service experience working directly on air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, or related mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems associated with HVAC installations and repairs is highly desirable.
