Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and preventative inspections to ensure peak performance.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment; repair or replace faulty components as needed.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and ammonia refrigeration repairs where applicable.
• Collaborate with property managers and clients to assess HVAC needs; assist in designing or modifying HVAC systems for optimal efficiency.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports; ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields; construction background is highly valued.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and understand HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems thoroughly.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, appliance repair, welding, boiler maintenance, and field service operations.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems, ammonia refrigeration processes, and HVAC design principles.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; comfortable working with electrical components.
• Valid driver’s license with a <PERSON> driver endorsement preferred; experience operating various vehicles required.
• Knowledge of property maintenance practices along with experience in mechanical troubleshooting within commercial or residential settings.
