Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other diagnostic devices.
  • Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant recharge and ammonia refrigeration handling.
  • Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with HVAC/R systems while ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related construction fields with a strong mechanical background.
  • Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, and system installation procedures.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repair with precision.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, welding, boiler maintenance, and property upkeep.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving <PERSON> vehicles preferred.
  • Strong field service skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
