Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver top-tier service across various property types. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal indoor air quality and comfort. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will drive your success as you work on complex HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, plumbing systems, and related mechanical components. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and ventilation equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, piping (plumbing), and appliances to prevent system failures.
- Conduct field service visits for property maintenance requests involving HVAC/R systems, appliance repairs, or mechanical issues.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all work performed for compliance and future reference.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards including proper handling of refrigerants like ammonia and adherence to local codes.
- Assist in the design or modification of HVAC systems based on client needs or project specifications.
Experience
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems with a strong mechanical background.
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or renovation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology (including ammonia refrigeration), and boiler operation.
- Knowledge of electrical testing using tools like ohmmeters and proficiency in equipment repair including welding techniques.
- Prior field service experience working on property maintenance projects or appliance repairs is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing pumps, valves, piping systems, and HVAC/R components is essential.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
