Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring optimal indoor comfort and air quality across diverse properties. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation; perform preventative maintenance to extend system lifespan.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe repairs and refrigerant line servicing; handle ammonia refrigeration systems safely.
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems using diagnostic tools; execute equipment repairs efficiently in the field.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports; communicate clearly with clients regarding repairs and system status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in construction-related mechanical roles with a focus on HVAC/R systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, and boiler maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately.
- Familiarity with field service procedures for property maintenance and appliance troubleshooting.
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems and understanding of HVAC/R safety protocols.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; capable of performing equipment repair using various mechanical techniques.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers or similar vehicles preferred.
- Additional skills such as welding, boiler operation, or mechanic experience are highly desirable to enhance your versatility on the job. Pay: $26.88 - $35.00 per hour
