Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across commercial and residential properties. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform plumbing and refrigeration repairs, including ammonia refrigeration systems when applicable.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential failures or inefficiencies before they impact operations.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or modify mechanical components.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks.
- Assist with HVAC design modifications or upgrades to improve system performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely for on-site visits and equipment transport.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles with construction or mechanical backgrounds preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, boilers, plumbing, appliances, and related equipment repair.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and understand HVAC design principles.
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with field service operations and appliance repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe operation of <PERSON> driver vehicle.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, boiler systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices is highly desirable. Pay: $26.22 - $31.58 per hour
