Job Summary:

The Heavy Driver is responsible for operating heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or buses to transport goods, materials, or personnel safely and efficiently. The role requires adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, trailers, dump trucks, buses) as assigned.
  • Transport materials, equipment, or personnel safely to designated locations.
  • Ensure timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, etc.).
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain trip logs, delivery notes, and required documentation.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
  • Ensure proper handling and securing of loads.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and supervisors for assignments.

Requirements:

  • Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Qatar / GCC preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a heavy driver.
  • Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
  • Ability to handle long driving hours and work under pressure.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in construction, logistics, or facilities management industry.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and defensive driving.
  • Basic communication skills (English or Arabic preferred).
