Job Description
- Safely operate and drive various types of heavy vehicles, including but not limited to trucks, trailers, and other specialized equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues, defects, or damages to the designated supervisor.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures for loading, unloading, and securing cargo.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Load and unload goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Plan and execute efficient routes to reach destinations in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
- Complete all required paperwork, such as logbooks, inspection reports, and delivery documents.
Qualifications:
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driver's License. UAE (Manual NO- 4 )
- Previous 2 - 7 years experience as a Heavy Vehicle Driver is preferred.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and occasional overnight trips if needed.
