Heavy Duty Driver (Warehouse Dept)

MAJOR DUTIES:

1. Ability to perform vehicle inspections, secure loads, maintain logbooks, and support basic warehouse and material handling activities in compliance with company procedures.

2. Operate heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles within the Warehouse scope, including trucks, flatbed trailers, pickup vans, and any other assigned equipment, in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

3. Perform loading and offloading of raw materials at designated loading/unloading stations using company equipment and systems, ensuring full compliance with operational and safety procedures.

4. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure roadworthiness, safety, and operational reliability, and promptly report any defects or abnormalities

5. Ensure all cargo is properly secured and safely loaded in compliance with company SOPs, legal requirements, and best industry practices to prevent damage or incidents during transit.

6.Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logbooks and operational records as per company requirements

7. Operate all vehicles and equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner, fully adhering to relevant legislation, company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.

8. Ensure proper parking, storage, and security of all assigned vehicles and equipment when not in use.

9.Drive vehicles to the Traffic Department and coordinate with relevant authorities to complete technical inspections and registration renewal requirements.

10.)Support warehouse operations by assisting in packing area activities and other related logistics tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in operating heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles within industrial, logistics, or warehouse environments, with a strong track record of safe driving performance.
