Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our transportation company. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and vehicles, with strong expertise in Caterpillar Dozers (D6 & D8), Komatsu equipment, and Mercedes heavy vehicles. Preference will be given to candidates who are available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Service and repair Caterpillar Dozers D6 & D8, Komatsu machinery, and Mercedes trucks.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Identify mechanical faults and provide effective repair solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with operations and fleet teams for timely repairs.
• Respond to breakdowns on-site and in the workshop as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in a transportation or construction environment.
• Proven experience with Caterpillar (D6 & D8), Komatsu, and Mercedes heavy vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagnostic reports.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site environments.
• Good communication skills in basic English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in fleet maintenance for transportation companies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
• Immediate availability to join is highly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
