Position Summary
E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. A sample of the position's duties and responsibilities include:

• Inspecting various types of off-road heavy equipment including trucks, excavators, bulldozers, etc. for proper performance.
• Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment.
• Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.
• Repairing damaged equipment parts.
• Performing major repair work
• Consulting/ collaborating with other mechanics as needed
• Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to Equipment Department management

Qualifications

• 2 years experience/training in hydraulics, diesel mechanics, and electrical troubleshooting. Caterpillar experience preferred.
• 5 years proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Understanding of computer testing technologies
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and promote a safe work environment.
• Excellent team and communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and adjust to changing circumstances.
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug screening
• Charlotte-Douglas International Airport does not allow individuals to work on this jobsite if they have been convicted of a felony within the previous 10 years
