Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

JRF Enterprises LLC is seeking skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing site development and excavation team. The ideal candidate has experience with a variety of machinery, can read site plans or grades, and works well in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, loaders, and skid steers
• Dig trenches, perform grading, backfilling, and site prep
• Follow project specifications, grade stakes, and directions from supervisors
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on equipment
• Load/unload equipment and materials as needed
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
• Work with other crew members as needed to meet project goals

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
• Familiarity with GPS or laser grading systems is a plus
• Ability to read site plans and grade stakes
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be punctual, dependable, and work well with others
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred (or willing to obtain)

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
