Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help drive project success while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to complete construction tasks efficiently and safely
• Manage the operation of specialized vehicles including concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Assist with site preparation by grading, excavating, lifting materials, and moving earth or debris as required
• Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environment
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational reports

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites
• Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures
• Ability to operate multiple types of machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and farm machinery
• Knowledge of construction materials and processes is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
