Heavy Equipment Operator

Oak Hill Contractors, LLC is a family owned, dirt excavating business in the Southern Illinois Region. Oak Hill Contractors, LLC believes in having a team oriented, family environment, while maximizing production and timeliness to enhance positive outcomes for our clients. We specialize in land reclamation, land clearing, revegetation, drain projects, and brush mowing. We contract with coal mines, landfills, quarries, USACE, and many other entities.

Position Overview

Oak Hill is actively recruiting Heavy Equipment Operators for short and long term contract jobs in the Southern Illinois region, throughout the Midwest, and many other areas. Ability to travel is required. Housing and per diem is provided by the company while traveling. This position is average of 5 months, possible longer, once completed, potential to stay on and travel.

Qualified applicants must have experience in articulating trucks, tractor/pans, scrapers, dozers, and excavators. Surface coal mining, landfill, or solar panel experience is a plus. Applicants must be self-motivated, safety conscious, and efficient in the areas of production and quality. Surface 50023 MSHA papers highly preferred.

Schedule

Varying schedule; approximately 10-12 hour days 5-6 days per week. Off every Sunday guaranteed.
