Heavy Equipment Operator & Trail Builder

Do you enjoy working outdoors and building spaces people love to explore? Our trail company designs, builds, and maintains natural trail systems across the Charlotte area. We’re looking for reliable, motivated individuals with a landscaping or outdoor construction background to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, mini-excavators, etc.)
• Build and maintain natural surface trails, boardwalks, and related outdoor structures
• Operate hand tools and landscaping equipment (weed eater, blower, chainsaw, etc.)
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, often in physically demanding environments
• Travel to local and regional job sites (occasional overnight travel)

What We’re Looking For

• Previous landscaping, construction, or outdoor work experience required
• Carpentry skills and/or equipment operation a strong plus
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work in a team setting
• Physically comfortable with manual labor in outdoor environments
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)
• Commercial driving experience (1 year preferred)

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, weather dependent
• Occasional overtime and weekends needed depending on project needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
