HEAVY HYDROLIC MECHANIC

  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic failures including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hoses.
  • Perform hydraulic oil sampling, filtration, and system flushes to prevent contamination.
  • Troubleshoot pressure issues, flow rates, and overheating in hydraulic circuits.
  • Rebuild and replace hydraulic cylinders and rotary actuators (slew rings).
  • Maintain and repair diesel engines (Cummins, Cat, etc.) including cooling and exhaust systems.
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical systems, PLC controls, and remote-control operation issues.
  • Inspect and replace concrete pumping wear parts (pipes, elbows, reducers) as needed.
  • Execute scheduled PMs based on engine hours and pump yardage.
  • Inspect boom components, outriggers, and safety systems for structural integrity and function.
  • Ensure all equipment is DOT-ready and compliant with safety regulations.
