Heavy Machinery Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various types of heavy equipment. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders on construction sites.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Safely transport materials using dump trucks and water trucks as needed.
• Assist in horizontal drilling operations and paving tasks as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction machinery.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience with commercial driving and operating various vehicles such as tankers is preferred.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and other industry-standard equipment is a plus.

Pay: $23.84 - $28.71 per hour
