Skilled Construction Laborer

Job Summary
Paving and concrete contractor is looking for a hands-on, experienced Skilled Labor that can lead and manage our field crews in the execution of asphalt, concrete, and ADA-compliant work. We that can confidently run heavy machinery, and understands how to get jobs done right, on time, safe and up to code.

Duties

• Supervise field operations and manage day-to-day jobsite activities
• 5+ years’ experience in asphalt and/or concrete field work
• Strong understanding of ADA regulations, slope requirements, grading and forming standards
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment
• Ability to read and interpret site plans
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Valid CA driver’s license B & C with clean record

Skills

• Operate and oversee use of heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, pavers, rollers, backhoes)
• Ensure quality and compliance on asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, grading, slope, and ADA upgrades
• Coordinate demolition and site preparation work
• Maintain crew safety and efficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
