Heavy Mechanical Technician

We are recruiting for our client in Saudi Arabia.

Overview: The Heavy Mechanical Technician will repair and maintain diesel and gasoline engine industrial trucks according to dealership and factory specifications.

Key Accountabilities:

• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and brake inspections
• Diagnosis of mechanical faults in heavy trucks
• Repair or replace faulty components including engines and transmissions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement best practices for engine diagnostics and repairs
• Does not use software or electronic devices to diagnose faults - intended for electricians
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Communicate with drivers and fleet managers about vehicle issues
• Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received
• Order and manage inventory of parts and tools
• Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
• Follow company and industry safety protocols

• External: External visits for maintenance of vehicles belonging to the company's branches

Qualifications, Experience & Skills: High school

• Specialization: General
• Other: Vocational training in diesel technology or related field

Experience: Mechanical experience, 2 years

Personnel Skills: Good communication, Problem-solving skills

Professional Skills: Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment, Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems, Tuning engines for 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder vehicles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs134,912.52 per month
