Job Description
Cannata Worldwide Cargo Services LLC invites applications from highly skilled, disciplined, and safety-focused Heavy Truck Drivers to join our professional transportation division. The role is entrusted with the safe, lawful, and efficient operation of company-assigned heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, flatbeds and tippers for both domestic UAE routes and cross-border GCC shipments. The position carries critical responsibility for safeguarding company assets, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and delivering cargo with precision, professionalism, and adherence to the highest operational standards. Drivers are additionally eligible for trip-based incentives in accordance with the assigned destination, covering both local and cross-border operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the assigned heavy truck, trailer, flatbed, or tipper in strict accordance with UAE Federal Traffic Regulations, GCC cross-border transport laws, and company operational protocols.
• Maintain responsible and fuel-efficient driving habits, prioritizing safety, compliance, and the protection of company property at all times.
• Execute all assigned local and international deliveries with accuracy, ensuring cargo is transported safely, securely, and in alignment with approved routes, timelines, and loading specifications.
• Ensure all goods are properly secured in compliance with legal load-restraint standards to prevent damage, spillage, or loss during transit.
• Prepare, complete, and submit all mandatory transport documents, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, customs forms, permits, and border-clearance paperwork.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, border entries, fuel consumption, and vehicle-usage data in compliance with UAE and GCC regulatory frameworks.
• Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip inspections to confirm roadworthiness and operational safety of the assigned vehicle and trailer.
• Drivers are eligible to receive a destination-based trip bonus, payable according to the nature of the assignment local shipments within the UAE or cross-border GCC operations, subject to successful completion of the trip, compliance with all procedures, and adherence to safety and performance standards.

Requirement

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License (Category 4).
• Proven experience in long-haul, cross-border, or heavy-duty transport operations.
• Strong understanding of UAE and GCC transport laws, customs processes, border-clearance protocols, and vehicle-safety regulations.
• Clean driving record with demonstrated commitment to safe-driving practices and zero preventable incidents.
• Proficiency in route planning, GPS navigation, defensive driving, and problem-solving in dynamic road or border conditions.
