Heavy Truck Driver

Responsibilities:-

* Follow the logistics plan to deliver the orders on time and ensure the safety of the deliveries

· Schedule regular service appointments for vehicles

· Follow the approved route to run the vehicle. Change in route is prohibited and meet delivery schedules

· Follow RTA traffic laws and Logistic department policy and procedures.

· Maintain good behavior in the roads and follow the Road rules & Regulations to avoid any accidents or fines

· Maintain a positive attitude with customers & Suppliers

· Document and log your activities and kilometers spent driving and maintain fuel log sheet

· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

· Maintain the vehicle and associated equipment, clean and in good working order

· Inspect the Vehicle before and after the trip, and record any defects in a Daily / Weekly Report

· Follow RTA accident procedures if an accident occurs and update to supervisor /Logistics office immediately

· Report defects, accidents or violations.

· Any job assigned by the logistics department should do in a good manner.Must possess a valid driver's license

Requirements :-

* Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 4)

* Min 5 Years of Experience in driving heavy-duty trucks

* Clean driving record with no accidents or violations

* Excellent driving skills and knowledge of RTA traffic laws and regulations

* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent
