Heavy Truck Driver

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate concrete mixer truck safely for transportation of ready-mix concrete to construction sites.
• Check vehicle condition before and after each trip (drum, hydraulics, tires, water system, etc.).
• Load concrete from batching plant and ensure correct mix is maintained during transit.
• Drive safely and ensure timely delivery of concrete without delay or setting issues.
• Maintain proper rotation of drum during transit to keep concrete in usable condition.
• Coordinate with site supervisor for proper unloading location and timing.
• Operate drum controls for mixing, discharge, and washing after unloading.
• Ensure safe unloading of concrete at construction site.
• Clean mixer drum and vehicle after each delivery to prevent hardening of concrete.
• Follow traffic rules, safety regulations, and company instructions.
• Maintain logbook, delivery slips, and trip records accurately.
• Report any mechanical issues or breakdowns immediately to the supervisor.
