Heavy Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to transport materials, equipment, and goods to designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials as per assigned schedules.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, delivery notes, and vehicle documents.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials when required.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured during transportation.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, logistics personnel, and transport coordinators regarding delivery schedules.
• Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle breakdowns to management.
• Ensure all vehicle documents, permits, and licenses remain valid and up to date.
• Follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver.
• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 4 or relevant category).
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to various project locations.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Physically fit and capable of handling transportation-related duties.
