Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Heavy Truck Driver to support our water treatment operations. The role involves transporting water, wastewater, sludge, and treatment chemicals safely and efficiently between sites and client locations. The ideal candidate must have 2–3 years of relevant driving experience, a valid heavy vehicle license, and basic English communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks such as water tankers, vacuum trucks, and sludge tankers safely.

• Transport potable water, wastewater, sludge, and chemicals to designated locations.

• Perform loading and unloading using pumps, hoses, and valves while following safety procedures.

• Inspect the vehicle daily (engine, brakes, tires, lights, tank, hoses, valves) before and after trips.

• Ensure safe handling and transportation of materials in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely service.

• Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, quantities, and fuel usage.

• Communicate effectively in English with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients.

• Report accidents, breakdowns, delays, or safety issues immediately.

• Perform minor maintenance and report major mechanical problems.

• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure tanker hygiene to avoid contamination.

• Use proper PPE and follow all company health & safety guidelines.

• Assist site or plant staff during loading/unloading when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a heavy truck driver (preferably tanker or water transport).

• Valid heavy vehicle driving license (UAE license preferred).

• Basic English communication skills (reading, speaking, and understanding).

• Knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.

• Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks.

• Familiarity with water treatment or waste transport operations is an advantage.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts if required
