Job Summary

The Heavy Vehicle Driver is responsible for operating heavy-duty vehicles in a safe, efficient, and lawful manner. The role requires adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and site safety regulations while ensuring timely delivery and proper vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles such as dump trucks, trailers, tankers, or low-bed trucks as assigned
• Transport construction materials, machinery, and equipment to and from job sites
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues promptly
• Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation
• Follow traffic laws, site rules, and company safety procedures at all times
• Assist with basic loading and unloading when required
• Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, site managers, and dispatchers

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid heavy vehicle driving license .
• Minimum 3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles
• Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety practices
• Ability to work long hours and in challenging weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to handle job-related tasks
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality
