Position Overview

The Heavy Vehicle Driver cum Bell Boy is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services while supporting guest services operations. The role combines professional driving responsibilities with luggage handling, guest assistance, and front entrance support to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & Transportation Duties

• Operate heavy vehicles in compliance with Qatar traffic regulations and company policies.
• Provide transportation services for guests, staff, and management as assigned.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off services.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicle.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation (registration, insurance, permits) is valid and up to date.

Guest Service & Bell Desk Support

• Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide basic information about hotel facilities.
• Deliver messages, parcels, and guest requests promptly.
• Coordinate with the front desk regarding guest movements and transportation schedules.
• Maintain orderly and presentable entrance and lobby areas.

Operational Support

• Support airport transfers and group arrivals as per schedule.
• Assist during peak hours and special events.
• Follow hotel service standards and guest handling procedures.
• Ensure professional appearance and grooming at all times.

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to hotel policies and SOPs.
• Ensure guest safety and confidentiality.
• Comply with occupational health and safety standards.
• Immediately report incidents, accidents, or guest concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Qatar Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
• Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience (hotel experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Doha roads and key locations.
• Previous hotel bell service experience is an advantage.
• Good physical condition to handle luggage and extended standing.
