Heavy Vehicle Driver (Events & Production)

The Heavy Vehicle Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of event equipment, staging materials, audiovisual systems, and production assets to and from event venues, warehouses, and client locations, ensuring strict adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and event schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation & Logistics

• Operate heavy vehicles (trucks, trailers, or similar) to transport event materials, staging, lighting, sound, LED screens, and related equipment.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of equipment as per event schedules and deployment plans.
• Assist with loading and unloading of event equipment in coordination with the production and warehouse teams.
• Secure all materials properly to prevent damage during transportation.

Vehicle & Equipment Care

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure roadworthiness at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicle.
• Report any mechanical issues, damages, or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Ensure vehicle documents, permits, and insurance are valid and available.

Event Support

• Support on-site event setup and dismantling when required.
• Follow instructions from the Operations Manager or Event Supervisor at event sites.
• Be available for night shifts, early mornings, weekends, and public holidays based on event requirements.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow UAE traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies strictly.
• Ensure safe driving practices to protect company assets and staff.
• Comply with venue rules and local authority guidelines during events.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery records.
