Job Overview:

Supports and assists the IT Administrator and Controls Engineer in the maintenance and troubleshooting of the various information technology systems in use at Cooper River Partners (CRP) and Hydera at the Bushy Park industrial site. Effectively manages support requests entered in the CRP IT support ticketing system. Provides desktop support for CRP and Hydera employees. Provides after-hours support for infrastructure-related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance. Needs to be able to respond to the industrial park within one hour.

Reports to: Director, IT at Pacolet Milliken, parent company to Cooper River Partners

Job Type: Full-Time Exempt

Schedule:

Works Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
On occasion, additional work outside these hours may be required to support business needs and accommodate time-sensitive deadlines.
Consideration to work four 10-hour shifts on a rotating basis from Monday through Thursday and Tuesday through Friday can be reviewed after the initial training period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Supports users remotely or in person for desktop support issues.
Logs, updates, and prioritizes all service requests and responds in a timely manner.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic hardware and software issues.
Manages Microsoft Office 365 email accounts and other associated applications licensed to CRP.
Deploys new computers and software for employees.
Generates new user accounts and sets account permissions.
Generates and updates documentation regarding the CRP network structure and configuration.
Participates in risk assessments and security audits with corporate and onsite personnel.
Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on CRP’s IP phone system and adds new phone extensions for new users.
Performs maintenance and updating of servers and other IT computing equipment.
Assists in the configuration, maintenance, and deployment of network hardware, firewalls, and other security appliances.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Specific Skills:

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Working knowledge of Ethernet network topology, IP addressing, and routing.
Experience using and configuring network switching and routing equipment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and critically think through next steps.
Excellent organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
Positive customer relations skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
Experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.

Minimum Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience.

Certifications & Licenses: Valid driver’s license

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities: N/A

Physical Requirements: Possess close visual acuity, ability to reach, stand, walk, push, pull, finger, grasp, talk, hear, make substantial movements with wrists, hands and fingers, and exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally and 20lbs frequently.

Working Conditions: Subject to inside environmental conditions, hazards such as moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working in close quarters, small enclosed rooms, and narrow passageways/aisles.

Pay: $60,000 - $70,000/year, based on skills and experience

Annual Bonus: 5%, based on company and personal performance
