HELPDESK REPRESENTATIVE

1. Document Handling: Receiving job-related documents from customers/agents via email or in person.

2. Job Registration: Logging job details into the Job Register for reference and tracking.

3. Coordination: Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customers, yard operations, HSE, and asset teams to plan container movements.

4. Container Planning: Strategizing container movement to and from the CFS.

5. Terminal Coordination: Ensuring timely return of DO-last and vessel-loading containers.

6. Email Monitoring: Regular checks and timely responses to container planning and general inquiries.

7. Inventory Reporting: Preparing and sharing weekly container inventory reports.

8. Special Jobs Coordination: Prioritizing container shifts in coordination with T&D.

9. Bundling Coordination: Updating container bundling status with the empty yard admin.

10. Ship Spares: Receiving ship spares and ensuring timely onboard delivery.

11. Nomination Coordination: Coordinating container nominations with the empty yard team.

12. OOG Cargo: Ensuring safe transfer of OOG cargo to CFS.

13. Custom Hold Planning: Handling containers with NOCs from Customs and Shipping Lines.

14. Special Handling: Managing overweight, spillage, and one-sided weight containers.

15. Leaking Containers: Coordinating status changes in case of leaks.

16. Night Shift Support: Collaborating with the technical team for operational needs.

17. Discharge List Monitoring: Reviewing discharge lists for container planning.

18. Stuffing Tally: Generating stuffing tallies as per system requirements.

19. Weighbridge Coordination: Handling weighbridge logistics.

20. Reporting: Preparing and sharing day/night closing reports, KPIs, and yard capacity utilization.

21. Team Instructions: Coordinating with foremen/supervisors for gang deployment.

22. Cargo Lashing: Managing tarpaulin, lashing, and cargo rearrangement with proper safety clearance.

23. Gate Passes: Issuing gate passes via Capella for smooth logistic operations.

24. Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries and referring potential new business to the appropriate departments.

25. Technical Reporting: Reporting breakdowns of RS equipment, preparing work orders, and coordinating technician dispatch with the technical team.
