Helper (Loading & Unloading)

Position: Helper

We are looking to hire a hard-working and dependable warehouse / stores helper to process all incoming and outgoing goods and materials in accordance with company guidelines. The warehouse helper's responsibilities include identifying ways to maximize warehouse storage space, removing warehouse trash on a regular basis, and promptly notifying management of damaged merchandise or equipment. You should also be able to maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety regulations at all times.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and goods and verifying that they are undamaged and of sound quality.
• Weight and count received items.
• Assist warehouse staff in retrieving specified materials and goods from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders.
• Prepare materials and goods for delivery or shipping by packaging and labelling them accordingly.
• Move all outgoing materials and goods to the delivery area.
• Ensure that all materials and goods are properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials and goods.
• Utilize warehouse lift equipment to load and unload materials and goods as well as move, lift, or stack materials and goods as needed.
• Organize warehouse materials and goods and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform all duties necessary to maintain warehouse cleanliness, which includes sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.
• Responsible for materials and goods loading and unloading.

Helper Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Proven experience working as a warehouse helper.
• Sound knowledge of standard warehouse practices.
• Good physical health and stamina.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1,400.00 per month
