Helper - Stores (Loading & Unloading)

Position: Helper - Stores

As a Helper - Stores, the Employee shall be required to perform his duties and undertake Responsibilities in a professional manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials and goods and verify that they are undamaged and of sound quality.
• Weight and count received items.
• Assist Stores staff in retrieving specified materials and goods from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders.
• Prepare materials and goods for delivery or shipping by packaging and labelling them accordingly.
• Move all outgoing materials and goods to the delivery area.
• Ensure that all materials and goods are properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials and goods.
• Utilize warehouse lift equipment to load and unload materials and goods as well as move, lift, or stack materials and goods as needed.
• Organize stores / warehouse materials and goods and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform all duties necessary to maintain stores / warehouse cleanliness, which includes sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.
• Responsible for materials and goods loading and unloading.
• Forklift operation.

Helper Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Proven experience working as a stores / warehouse helper.
• Sound knowledge of standard stores / warehouse practices.
• Good physical health and stamina.
• Forklift operation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED1,400.00 per month
