HES System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position will include :

• Oversee daily operations of smart metering solution (HES).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and maintenance.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with Specifications and Standards where needed.

Operational Management:

• Manage day-to-day operations of smart metering system (HES).
• Ensure efficient and effective deployment of smart metering solution components.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze operational data to enhance performance and identify trends
• Generate reports on operational metrics and KPIs.

Technical Support:

• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide technical assistance to internal teams and clients

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure compliance with Specifications and Standards where needed.
• Stay updated with advancements in smart metering technology and best practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Telecommunication).
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with smart grid technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
• Experience with Telecommunication requirements through several technologies ( NB,2G,4G, etc.) .
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of the troubleshooting tools ( Wireshark, Gurux, Service Tools, FileZilla, Postman)
• Knowledge of the Microsoft SQL DB.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and relevant software tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in shifts ( and "On-Call" mode )
• Ability to go to Site (SEC control center)
