Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;

HGV 1 Powder Tanks - Tramping

Shift: 3 on 5 off
Type of work - HGV 1 Powder Tank Driver
Location: Middlewich

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading of Powder Tanks using pumps , compressors & gravity
• 3 on 5 off, including nights out
• Food products
• Working at heights / Climbing on top of tanks several times per day
• Checking and securing hoses, valves and seals
• Manually connecting and disconnecting hoses for loading / unloading
• Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
• Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines
• Being alert to hazards like spills, leaks or high pressure systems

What We’re Looking For:

HGV 1 Licence for a minimum of 12 months – Max 6 penalty points
Valid DCPC Card
Tanker experience preferred but not essential
Must be able to operate safely within a fall arrest system of 140kg
