HGV Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers. This role requires nights out and occasional weekend work. You will ensure high standards of customer service and legal compliance at all times. You will be working with different types of trailers, doing full loads and multi-drop deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and report all defects to the office.
• Ensure all products are loaded safely on to the vehicle and are properly secured.
• Comply with tachograph legislation.
• Ensure that the customer signs all documentation before leaving the goods.
• Report any delivery discrepancies at the time of delivery.
• All vehicles are to be kept in a clean and presentable condition, both internally and externally any problem, accidental damage etc, should be reported immediately to the Transport team.

Profile requirements:

• Full, clean Driving Licence and driver qualification card
• Good geographical knowledge.

• Good driving skills and knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations.
• Polite, courteous, respectful and helpful.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
