HGV Class 1 Driver

Freeburn Transport Ltd are a family run business located in Moy, a village located between Dungannon and Armagh in Northern Ireland. The Company has extensive transport operations covering Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and depots located throughout Scotland and England.

Due to growth, we are looking for experienced walking floor drivers for;

- Full Time Day Shift

They can be based out of Moy, Warrington or Mallusk

Job Responsibilities;

- Abide by health and safety requirements.

- Conduct daily walk around checks on a regular basis of both the lorry unit and the trailer/ fridge.

- Adhere to speed limits at all times and drive with care and attention, being aware of other vehicles, road users and pedestrians.

- Adhering to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.

- Treat with care and attention and respect all items of Customer and Company property.

- Communicate any problems immediately to the appropriate Operations Manager, Planning Managers, Compliance, or the Fleet Maintenance Manager.

- Deal with Customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner at all times.

- Abide by drivers’ hours, tacho and rest periods.

Qualifications;

- Class 1 HGV Licence.

- DIGI and CPC Cards.

- Excellent communication skills and IT Literacy.

- Good understanding of safety procedures.

- Flexible approach to working hours.
