HGV Class 1 Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires a valid commercial driving licence and experience driving is preferred. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries.

Duties

• Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Safely transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules .
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) and CPC is essential.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, with a strong understanding of safe driving practices.
• Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local routes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and good time management .
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road.
• Valid MPQC qualification and minimum of 2 years of experience.
