HGV Class 1 Driver (Full Time)

LGV C+E Tramper Driver – 4 On / 4 Off

Location: Burton upon Trent
Daily Start Times: 01:30 – 03:00

Fenn Logistics is continuing to grow and we’re now looking for a professional Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our team on a 4 on / 4 off tramping shift pattern.

You’ll be working across a well-established operation delivering to distribution centres, cash & carries, and major retailers nationwide, primarily within the food and retail sector.

The Role

• Tramping role on a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
• Early morning starts (01:30 – 03:00)
• Nationwide deliveries and collections
• Regular routes with familiar delivery points
• Building strong working relationships at collection and delivery sites

This role suits drivers who take pride in their work, maintain high vehicle standards, and prefer structured, consistent operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods safely and on time across the UK
• Ensure all loads are secured and handled correctly
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Operate fully in line with UK Drivers’ Hours and Working Time regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Valid UK LGV C+E licence
• Driver CPC (DCPC) qualification
• Good driving record (no major convictions)
• Strong understanding of Drivers’ Hours regulations
• Professional attitude with good communication skills
• Commitment to vehicle cleanliness and presentation

Due to insurance requirements, applicants must typically be 25+ with 2+ years’ experience. However, we may consider drivers with less experience where insurance approval allows.
