HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Full Time Permanent Contract

Salary: £43,000 per year (Realistic OTE)

THE ROLE

We are recruiting for a full-time, permanent Class 1 (C+E) Driver based in Wigan for ongoing trunking work.

This is a direct employed role – not agency work, offering stability, consistency, and long-term career progression.

• Trunking (depot-to-depot)
• No handball
• Clean, well-managed operation
• Modern fleet

SHIFT PATTERN (FIXED START TIME)

• Monday – Friday
• Start time between 22:00-02:00am

Consistent start time and structured working week.

SALARY & EARNINGS

£43,000 per year – realistic earnings (OTE)

• Full-time contracted hours
• Regular overtime availability
• Performance bonus included
• Monthly Pay

OVERTIME & BONUS

• Overtime: £210 per shift
• Includes £10 performance bonus per shift
• Bonus subject to manager discretion

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Strong understanding of driver hours & regs
• Reliable, professional attitude

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience required
