HGV Class 1 Driver Nights - LTD drivers Welcome

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including curtain side trailer.

Duties

• Safely operate lorries and other commercial vehicles for the delivery of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Upto 9 points accepted
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
