HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

We’re looking for a reliable and professional HGV Driver working nights to join our team, supporting time-critical transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drop and swap trailers at ferry terminal and adhere to timings
• Trunking to and from pallet network hubs
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of trailers
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Maintain high standards of compliance and professionalism
• Follow the requirements of the drivers' handbook
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreements are complied with, for all customers.
• Responsible for own load security and strapping ensuring a safe delivery.
• Obtaining delivery confirmations via electronic or paper methods as required and ensuring these are returned safely to the transport office.
• Reporting to traffic planners on potential incidents, delays and successful delivery ensuring they are advised if you are running behind schedule.

Key Performance Indicators:

• On-time deliveries
• Completion of relevant documentation
• Number of accidents / incidents / infringements

Working Hours & Package:

Monday to Friday 10 hours per night. Some flexibility and overtime will be required due to the nature of the role.

22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
