HGV Class 1 Tramper

Massey Wilcox Transport Ltd are a family owned haulage and distribution company based in Chilcompton and Avonmouth. We have a large variety of customers and continue to grow.

We require Class 1 Trampers to operate out of either our Chilcompton or Avonmouth depot. You will be working Monday to Friday, with nights out and there will be weekend work available (you may also be expected to run back in on a Saturday morning on occasion).

Our fleet is all Mercedes Benz and we only run curtain side trailers. Previous experience of using a moffet would be advantageous.

The work has a good mix of variety and our planners work with our drivers to ensure you are happy with the work.

We are happy to consider candidates who have recently passed. We expect our drivers to be polite and professional at all times. We expect our drivers to look after vehicles/trailers, ensuring they are clean/tidy to give a representation of ourselves.

We offer a competitive pay structure which consists of load/tip bonuses, four weekly attendance bonus and six monthly bonus, along with all the benefits ie. Pension, Death In Service. Our overall pay structure is competitive in the market place.
