HGV Class 2 Driver

DH Stainless is a major UK supplier of stainless steel piping systems, known for its wide product range, technical expertise, and role in supporting industrial and infrastructure projects.

We are currently seeking an experienced class 2 (C Licence) HGV driver to work for a stainless steel stockholder company supplying across the UK

Key Skills Required:

• HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• 26T Rigid Flatbed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion
• Strapping and unstrapping of vehicle load
• Tube & Pallet multi or single drops
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers expectations
• Attending regular training sessions which includes training for FORs

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure you complete all daily checks on your vehicles

Drive safely and economically at all times

Abide by all drivers hours, WTD and FORs compliance rules

This will be for 12 weeks work with the potential for FT ongoing work for suitable candidates.

The role involves working nights out from time to time at an average of 1 – 2 per week.

Typically working week Monday to Friday only and a start time of 0600

You will have 1 vehicle assigned for your use.

Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
