We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. As a vital member of our organisation, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of essential equipment for our projects, whilst representing our company professionally in all interactions.

The Role

Based at our Stoke-on-Trent depot, you will report directly to the Depot Manager and collaborate closely with our dedicated and experienced transport team at headquarters. The role involves 10-hour shifts between 4am and 7pm, with your regular hours being 6am to 4pm. Flexibility around these times is essential. This is a Monday to Friday position, with possible occasional overnight stays; weekends are off.

Main Purpose of the Role

Your primary responsibility is to operate within the Transport Department to ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery of all orders. You must also maintain full compliance with all driving regulations in a professional and safe manner.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect Conquip products in a professional, efficient and timely manner.
• Liaise with the Transport Manager to maintain a customer-first approach at all times.
• Communicate pro-actively with the office and customers to ensure or exceed on-time deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to all relevant legislation, including tachograph and DSA driving standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional image of the Conquip brand to all customers.
• Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all necessary safety and legal requirements.

• Accurate and compliant tachograph reporting
• Consistent on-time delivery performance

• Regular vehicle maintenance and compliance

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence
• Proven delivery experience, including London driving
• Strong team-working skills
• Ability to comply with all relevant regulations and company policies
• Positive feedback from managers and colleagues
• Flat Bed Experience is desirable
