HGV Class 2 Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our removals team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. The position is part time/full time and requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, along with relevant driving experience.

Duties

• Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle in compliance with all road safety
• Load and unload goods for domestic/office removals, ensuring they are secured properly during transit
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation within the vehicle at all times

Skills

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in removals
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members
