HGV Class 2 Driver

Newly qualified / inexperienced drivers welcome to apply

John Warren ABP Ltd are one of the region’s foremost providers of agricultural recycling services and are looking to recruit a Class 2 driver to become a permanent member of our team at our ABP Collection facility in Hamsterley, 6 miles west of Bishop Auckland.

Main responsibilities are:

• Collecting fallen stock animals from farms throughout the North East and bringing them back to our facility for processing.

We are looking for applicants that:

• Have a Class 2 driving licence, digicard and full CPC
• Represent our business in a smart and presentable manner with excellent customer service skills
• Are able to carry out vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Are able to complete the basic paperwork required.
• Able to carry out physical work.

Hours are 50-55 hours per week between approx 7am-6pm Monday-Saturday (weekend work on a rota system). Overtime after 40 hours.
